| a. The spiritual is that which is reality: eternal and everlasting | ||||||

| To us the physical world is a reality that is touched by our five senses: touch, smell, see, hear, and taste. However, the physical is not true reality—it is created reality. | ||||||
| b. The only true reality is God who is Spirit | ||||||
| The spiritual world cannot be comprehended with our five senses. Only one sense can comprehend this practical reality and that is our sense of faith. | ||||||
| 3. The Bible teaches that everything is under God's sovereignty | ||||||
| 4. To make a difference in your life you have to believe! | ||||||
| Basic Principals to Financial Freedom | ||||||
| 1. The struggle is not against the creditors and our employer/customers | ||||||
| a. Our battle is spiritual | ||||||
| b. Materialism is the enemy - Money is not inherently evil | ||||||
| c. Our battle is against self | ||||||
| 2. God is sovereign (He owns everything to start with) | ||||||
| 3. He wants us to manage what he gives us | ||||||
| 4. We must partner with God | ||||||
| a. We have responsibilities in this partnership | ||||||
| 1. Work | ||||||
| 2. Provide for the needy | ||||||
| 3. Trust God for results | ||||||
| b. God has a responsibility in this partnership | ||||||
| 5. Does God have a plan for me? - Yes | ||||||
| 6. We must obtain money biblically | ||||||
| a. We must be content | ||||||
| b. We must be honest about our finances | ||||||
| c. We must be generous with our giving | ||||||
| 7. Tithe | ||||||
| All else is worthless unless we Give God what is due Him! | ||||||
| 8. Save | ||||||
| 9. The Bible does not prohibit borrowing | ||||||
| a. Pay back what you owe | ||||||
| b. Co-signing is not wise. | ||||||
| If you skip "Put God First" and move on with the next three section without putting God first then you might as well go to any worldly financial program for advise, because this will not work unless you put God first! | ||||||
